Education Screening Services

Supporting schools with fast, reliable SEMH insights

SEMH needs are rising, but schools are under huge pressure. Staff time is stretched, budgets are tight, and referrals often take months. Early identification is key — yet existing tools can be time-consuming, expensive, or not designed with neurodivergent pupils in mind.

That’s where our SEMH Screening Service comes in.

What it is

A quick, student-friendly screening app for ages 6–18, designed by a team of mental health and SEN professionals.

  • 10 minutes to complete on any device.

  • Based on the RCADS framework (validated in schools) with added domains for neurodivergent needs: sensory processing, executive functioning, masking, and burnout.

  • Uses neurodivergent-affirming language — accessible for students, trusted by parents.

How it works

Pupils complete the 10-minute questionnaire on the app, either independently or with TA support.

Responses are securely sent to ABC, where they are scored and interpreted by experienced SEMH professionals.

Within 2-3 working days, the school receives a clear written report, ready to share with staff, parents, or use for EHCP evidence and referrals.

Why schools choose this service

  • Research-informed: built on a validated tool (RCADS) plus ND-specific domains.

  • Professional quality assurance: results are interpreted by experienced SEMH specialists, not left as raw scores.

  • Saves staff time: no scoring or lengthy paperwork for SENCOs.

  • Strengthens evidence: reports are written in clear language for tribunals, EHCPs, and referrals.

  • Parent confidence: shows schools are listening and acting proactively.

  • Ofsted-ready: demonstrates a structured, consistent approach to SEMH monitoring.

Data protection & confidentiality

We operate under strict GDPR compliance.  All data handled in compliance with GDPR; responses stored securely and only shared with authorised school staff.

Piloting Opportunity

We are currently arranging a small number of pilot projects with schools and trusts. This gives staff a chance to test the tool, provide feedback, and help shape the next stage of development.

By taking part in the pilot, your school will:

  • Be among the first to use SRSSP™ in practice.

  • Help us refine the service to meet school needs.

  • Receive reports that are already suitable for use in support planning and referrals.

Pilot reports are delivered within 3 working days and fully GDPR-compliant.

Arrange a call to discuss pilot availability.
